Obscenity Charges Resulting in Projector Seizure Dispute
Mr. Chop was adjudicated by the Provincial Court to be guilty of offenses under the Act to Prevent the Propagation of Obscene Materials and was fined Mr. Chop the amount of 500 baht and the film reels were ordered to be seized. Mr. Chai was permitted to file a petition with the Provincial Court asserting that he was the owner of the projector and denying involvement in the offense committed by Mr. Chop, requesting that the court return the government projector number 52 in one criminal case where the Prosecutor was the plaintiff, and the witness testimony was recorded.
