Article 9. The purchase of a man exchanged for a used car. Subsequently, Mr. Boon drove the car he had purchased. Mr. Som remembered it to be his car that was missing and reported it to the police for seizure. The court ruled that the government vehicle be awarded to Mr. Som, who was the rightful owner. As follows, Mr. Boon would have the right to seek compensation from anyone for the price of the car. Mr. Boon purchased the car honestly from a merchant selling such goods, and he did not necessarily have to return the car to Mr. Som, the true owner, unless the true owner had transferred it. The Civil and Commercial Code, Section 1332, was seized by the police as government property and the court ordered its return to the true owner. Mr. Boon could not claim compensation from Mr. Som for the price and damages, considering that Mr. Boon had waived his right, and Mr. Heng, the seller, was liable to pay the price of the car, 250,000 baht, pursuant to Section 479.
