Defendant’s Denial of Possession and Explosive Device Allegation

The Prosecutor is the plaintiff in prosecuting Mr. Daeng, alleging that he possessed an explosive device. Mr. Daeng testified before the court that the explosive device did not belong to him, but was intended to avoid complicating the case, to impose a light sentence, or to await sentencing, and he affirmed the statement he had previously made. The plaintiff stated that he was not interested in investigating Mr. Daeng. If the court were to proceed, what steps would it take? Provide an account of Mr. Daeng’s testimony as the defendant, not a confession as charged. (Appeal No. 1318/2523)
In the course of the case in the Provincial Court, the Prosecutor indicted the defendant requesting a sentence.
