Article 8. Mr. Dee purchased a shirt. The seller inadvertently placed a price tag on one shirt, valued at [boo] baht, which Mr. Dee had already paid for. Mr. Dee then paid [a] baht to replace it with another shirt and informed the seller that he wished to purchase the second shirt in the amount of 1,000 baht. Did Mr. Dee commit any wrongdoing? The price of 1,000 baht was obtained by Mr. Dee by affixing a tag from a cheaper shirt in place of a more expensive shirt in order to deceive the observer by presenting false information, even though payment was made. This constitutes a breach of contract. Mr. Dee is liable for fraud, pursuant to the Criminal Code.
